GN vs. LG Spectrum

While the Spectrum will not be my next phone, I am eager to see the display. As for the expected problems, I will bet LG does a much better job than with the Revolution.

I want the new LTE chocolate 4G!

After all we are all now candy bars, never forget your roots!

From what I can gather, the Spectrum is still using the S3 Snapdragon. Same one that's in the ReZound. If it's an S4 it's another story, but how can anyone think the processor in the Spectrum is better than the OMAP4? The S3 is a generation older than the OMAP4.

Plus, the thing is never getting updates. Ask the G2X boys what they think about that.

The S3 is the same generation as the omap4. The scorpion core is comparable to the a9 used in the OMAP.

it is the s3. it is pretty much same internals as the rezound in an lg shell.

At this point i am leaning towards the Galaxy Nexus very strongly.

I have several friends who have it and love it.

I can't believe this is even being discussed. The Nexus is by far much better and LG does not make great android phones.

That's your opinion. The g2x is one of the best android phones I've ever had, and that was with bugs.

It's not just his opinion. It's shared by a great deal of people. LG needs to get it together.

I can now say that I have both, my girlfriend gave my the nexus for Christmas, and I purchased the lg spectrum last Sunday, yes since Sunday. Now, the nexus is a wonderful phone, but I found issue with the radio; it was on 3g more than on 4g (I live in a very good area, and haven't had any previous issues). As for the lg spectrum... It's okay at best, not as quick, and connectivity issues with the GPS, very slow to connect. Now, we'll see what happens when I root it removing all the extraneous and needless apps, maybe it become faster. I think the nexus by far is a better phone, but would be a great phone if the radio can be improved.

If you've never owned one your opinion doesn't mean anything.

If I know people who have had them and they had problems then I would say my opinion still counts but you're certainly welcome to your opinion that my opinion doesn't count.
