Can anyone point me in the direction to instructions on going back to mm for my att edge ? I've tried nougat and now I can go back to mm until att releases the official one. Any help would be appreciated. Now If I just decide to keep this nougat version that I have will it prevent me from getting any updated otas from ATT ? Id rather keep it since I'm not having any issues, but if it prevents me from getting updates I'd rather try to go back to mm now.

Another option would be to look at the firmwares from sammmobile.com but be aware these are the carrier versions so you might get the usual bloatware with it :(

I'm just going to see how it goes from using the video. I've already downloaded all the files. I just need to do a backup. If that doesn't work then I'll just be stuck I guess.

Ok, now that I can look at the app Smart Switch, you can restore to MM using Smart Switch by clicking on the Smart Switch at the top of the screen to bring down a menu. Click on Emergency Software Recovery. You might have to enter your phones serial number. It will download the MM image and then install it. The phone will also have to be in download mode but it tells you how to do that as well. The restore kept failing on my 2015 MacBook Pro and on my Surface Pro 3. I finally got it to complete on my 2013 MacBook Pro. For some reason the software can be picky.

Well somehow I messed up and now my phone is stuck on a error screen. Nexusgirl I did try the smart switch way and it wouldn't . I tried several times using different YouTube videos and I keep getting fail through Odin. I should have just left it alone. Smh

If the phone is still on the beta, your can download the MM firmware and use Odin to install it or use smart switch but that's a bit more difficult to figure out how to do.

I just meant after you've had nougat how could you go back?? I know the logistics of going back lol
