Hello,
I upgraded my phone's Go launcher from GL v2.87 to GL v3.0 and now I cannot access the Preferences menu and settings.

As soon as I select Preferences it reboots my main Home screen (I have 5 screens). Since I can't load Preferences, I cannot backup my launcher settings, cannot add a 3rd row to my dock area, cannot add the Go Contacts widget, cannot configure any Pref settings at all.

I wrote to the developers on their Go Launcher Blog for help, and they emailed a link to download the GL v3.01 .apk install file. Yet, the Preferences menu does not appear or allow access to any settings.

Then I reverted to my last working GL version, 2.87 and the Prefs menu does not appear long enough for me to change any settings. I emptied the cache, re-installed/removed GL versions 2.87, 3.0, and finally the latest update, 3.01, and the Prefs menu appears for an instant then restarts my home screen.

So not sure what to do next. Below is my Sprint Samsung Epic 4G setup.

Please let me know what I should try next, or whom to contact.

Thank You.

Have you tried "clear data" from Go Launcher? You may have to put things back where you want, but it should fix the issue. If that doesn't work, than fully remove it, and go straight to the apk they sent, rather than upgrading over the older ones. Otherwise, I would go back to the developer and let them know the fix didn't work in your instance. Reviews say that the GO team is responsive and helpful. Hopefully your experience with them reflects that too.
