Go SMS popup question

I've done some homework on this but cannot find a definitive answer...

Does anyone know how to get Go SMS pop up messages to appear over the HTC lock screen? I am currently using the built-in pattern lock. I selected the option in GO SMS to unlock, but that doesn't do the trick for me.

I used to use SMS Popup with the stock SMS app and that did pop over the lock screen but I can't get the same thing to happen with GO SMS.

Any ideas would be appreciated.

I use PIN lock and Go SMS pops work just fine. I'm wonder if pattern lock useing the whole screen is blocking Go SMS.... Not sure have you attempted PIN lock?
