Go SMS Pro notification issue

I just go the new 4.0 ice cream sandwich processor on my Droid 4...now my Go SMS Pro notifications are off. For some reason the message won't read out on my notification bar like it used to. I have checked all settings and it should work, but it isn't. Can anyone help?

I had the same issue with Gmail. It turned out to be an account sync issue. Go to settings>accounts & sync. See if the app is no longer synced or needs to be added to the accounts listed.

It's strongly recommended to do a factory data reset after the upgrade. It's a pain to be sure, but is almost inevitable.
