Goes to sleep but sometimes doesn't wake up...

I've noticed recently that at least once a day, my Skyrocket will go to "sleep" (screen times out), but when I push the side button to bring it back nothing happens. I end up pushing it multiple times after waiting with no results. I notice even when I charge it to see any response, I see none (no indication that it is charging). To bring it back I have to hold down the side button for about 20 seconds, until the phone restarts. Does anyone know what could be causing this or if there is a way to stop it from happening?

Someone recommended factory reset for another issue I was having, so I may do that. I'm holding on until the Note 3 comes out...
