Goigle Voice issue

I've used GV as my voicemail for many years. My son downloaded it, but he chose to use his Verizon number instead of getting a Google number.
I can't find instructions to forward missed and unanswered calls to use GV instead of Verizon.

I set mine up by using *70, *90, *92 plus my Google number.
How do I set his up?

Have him log in to google.com/voice on a computer. In the top right is the gear for settings, click it and select settings. On the Phones tab is the spot to select to use GV as the VM for a particular number associated with the GV account, it will have the directions there.

I've done it so it doesn't show the directions for me to copy/paste here
