Going BIGGER, ordered a new Z3 on sale

My Nexus 6 bit the dust.
Love my Xperia Z3 Compact only thing is my eyes are not that great.
The Z3 was on sale at B and H sooooo.... bought one.
Will be delivered today.
I realize most people come to forums for troubleshooting.
However, you are the ones with the most hands on experience.
Any tips, tricks gotcha's I should know about?

AAhhhh...
Has that new car smell.
I'm quite sure the Samsung Galaxy S7/e is a great phone.
Can't believe its 3 times as good as the Xperia Z3....Just saying.

I did the same.
It was sorta a dream phone and the one I was mainly focusing on when I was thinking of switching.
Its been a champ in performance so far.

I'm debating the Marshmallow update at this very time

Sony mostly does an excellent job regarding software.
S.L.O.W but stable.
Go for it.
I'm quite familiar with Marshmallow due to my prior Nexus 6.
So to me it was a no-brainer.

The battery life reports are steering me clear of it for the moment.
The best part of MM to me is the permission control.
Thats what interests me most.

Was getting 2.5 days per charge on 5.1.1
obviously not a heavy user, mostly wifi, decent signal.
Don't know with the update. Giving it some time to settle down.
didn't charge it last night and it used ~4 % over the night. figure .5%/hr.
More than good enough for my usage.
YMMV, Of course.
