Going for HTC EVO

Hi AC members.....i need some help getting EVO. My story is this my wife is really wanting the HTC EVO phone, only problem is that she wont be eligible for a full grade until August, meanwhile i'm have full grade option on my phone at this moment.

So i was gonna try to use my full upgrade option to get her the EVO, and swap her number on it, but i found yesterday by sprint rep (over the phone) that if i go that route i will lose the $100 MIR......

I wanted to know if any of the AC people have a workaround this issue. I would really appreciate some help. I dont want to lose the MIR option if possible. Thanks,

The phone would have to stay on your account for at least 30 days for you to get the MIR. Sorry brah.

Easy - upgrade at BB or RS with no MIR and then switch the numbers. Sprint rep actually suggested this to me over the phone.

Oh thanks PretoEVO...i was planning to get it from BB anywayz =) now hopefully they dont screw up the swap i like my phone and don't what them to screw up contacts and stuff..

I actually did that this morning. I upgraded to the EVO at Radioshack on one of my secondary lines and then called sprint customer service and had them do a swap for me. They were very courteous about it. Good Luck!
