Going to buy a Razr Maxx

Im going to buy a brand new droid razr maxx for $300 sealed in the box in a few days from a co-worker in need of some money but the only question i have is can i flash this phone over to page plus? I have seen the regular razr but havent seen any maxx flashed, also if it can be flashed can the 4g be used or not its not a big deal but would be neat and can i root it and use the free wifi tether app on it as long as i have the unlimited plan? If the regular razr can be flashed then the maxx can since the only difference is the battery. I'd just double check because I don't know for sure if either can be. Also, I haven't heard of any VZW 4G phone working on another carrier's 4G network, though I could be wrong, but I don't think you can use 4G. Someone else would need to answer the root/wifi tehter question.

I know the razr can and i checked at a local cellphone shop if they could activate it on page plus for me and they said they could so im happy about that, as far as 4g i can deal with out but would like to have it but not necessarily to me, Thanks for the answer!

Be careful before you buy. Ive been told page plus does not work with 4g phones. This coming from the guy who would be selling me the phone if it did work!
