Going to upgrade from Note 4 to S6 or S6 Edge?

I'm regretting not waiting for the s6, well the s6 edge...

I don't use my expandable storage now. Yea the spen is nice but I rarely use it. The screen size is nice.

And I seriously hate that missed out on the wireless charging. And being able to theme touchwiz now.

Like seriously Samsung. You can't place that on the note 4 too. Seriously. Also I like whole swipe to the side on the s6 edge. I'm glad it didn't look like the note edge. I found the edge so unappealing. Main reason I avoided the phone. Doing everything in my power not too just sell this phone and buy the s6 edge.

Why would I downgrade to a toy ? Not interested in the Samphone 6

no removable battery = downgrade
no micro sd slot = downgrade
no s-pen = downgrade
higher dpi = small upgrade
Exynos = let's see how the development fares with this cpu.
fingerpint scanner = more possible spy options to create a more accurate profile and sell the data to adverstisers
qi charging = couldn't care less I prefer my replacable batteries

Nope not even for free..Samsung messed up bigtime.

Piink-Maybe you should....it doesn't seem as though you're using the Note 4 to its full potential. That's not a dig, everyone's uses, needs & wants are different. I am often multitasking & use my spen 99% of the time, so the N4 is a great fit for me. I also decided I wanted to @ least try the QI Wireless Charging, so I bought a Qi Sview Case & got a Tylt Stand and ended up liking the convenience of it & the charge isn't bad either.
In the end, all that matters is that *you're happy with your device....no matter which one that may be!* Good luck with your decision!

Going to upgrade from Note 4 to S6 or S6 Edge?

The Note 4 and GS6 just are not the same type of phone. The GS6 has a better processor but other than that the specs are basically the same. Unless they suddenly make the screen bigger and add an S Pen, i dont consider it an upgrade. We will see what they do with a Note 5. If they go with the same build idea, enclosed case, then I probably would not get it right away. So like being able to swap things out if I need to.

The S6 doesn't have an SD card slot. It is a downgrade.

And one other thing. The S6 doesn't have an SD card slot. It is a downgrade.

But does the S6 have an SD slot?

You only live once.

Why would you do that? The Note 4 is only a few months old! You'd trade away the bigger screen, bigger battery, and S pen for the S6 or S6 Edge?

That's crazy, IMO.

Nope! In my opinion Samsung shouldn't have removed the SD Card slot and the removable battery. Apple is obviously one of the biggest, if not the biggest competitor for Samsung in the mobile market and I think having these options gave them a leg up on Apple. Taking this away is taking away a benefit of having a Samsung.

I also think the edge function on the S6 is a flop. Note Edge makes use of the much better. I really don't care if the edges light up when my phone is face down, because I NEVER lay my phone face down! I also don't care to have quick access to 5 contacts. I don't make use of any priority list options on my N4 because I hate having multiple list for the same thing, contacts.

But that's just my opinion! I'll wait for the Note 5 or 6

One perspective is that the Edge brings uniqueness and many will be attracted to the premium and unique design.

I simply can't go down to a smaller screen..will get the note 5 if it has the upgrades the S6 got

No . The Note 4 is still better than the S6 and 6edge. The only things i like about the S6 and 6edge is the camera and fingerprint scanner lol other than that ill stick to my Note 4.

I've been reading the comments and I'm happy to see that the majority of people are against the upgrade.
In my opinion, it isn't much of an upgrade anyway :)

It doesn't even remotely resemble what I'd consider an 'upgrade' to all that the Note 4 is. It's not even remotely close.

I do really like the looks of the phone (s6 edge) but not sure if that is worth spending $600+ for the phone.
I am with you. For me, the look of the S6 Edge is to die for, the best looking phone for now; my Note 4 is a close 2nd. I am 80% not interested in buying, the 20% depends how I like it after testing it.
