Goo Manager Not Working

Goo Manager has been down for me since Thursday. When looking for compatible ROMs, it just hangs on "Loading file list..." and then says "Unable to retrieve file list." Same thing for downloading gapps packages. Clicking "Check for Updates" does nothing. The website itself also seems to be down, but I don't see anybody talking about it, so I'm wondering if it's just me. Can anyone help with this? I'm sure there's something I'm just missing because I'm new to all this. I've been wanting to switch to CM from Paranoid Android, but I need the GApps package from Goo.

Why don't you just navigate to the ROM site on your phone, download the ROM and gapps and flash in recovery? If they don't have the gapps there, you can download it from another site. Most use the same package and your phone will download any Google updates it needs anyway. This is why it's best to learn to flash in recovery verses an app...you never get stuck like you are now.

If you're not sure how to flash manually, read through this thread: http://forums.androidcentral.com/ve...backup-restore-install-roms-galaxy-nexus.html

I do know how to flash via recovery. That's what I'd like to do. I already have the CM ROM on my SD card, the problem is that the gapps package I have is specific to Paranoid Android. I've searched on the internet for the gapps package for CM, and it appears 10.1 does have a CM specific package, but all point to Goo's website, which is down (for example: DroidViews | Download & Install Google Apps (GApps) on Your Android Device on GB/ICS/JB. I found an unofficial, unsigned gapps package on XDA forum, but I wanted to make sure there's no other option before using that.

Sorry about miss-understanding. I tried to go goo's web site on my pc and it's down for me as well. Hopefully, they'll get the problem rectified soon.

Goo manager is like a front end for the website so if the website is down then I think the app doesn't work either. Anyways seems to be up and running now again.
