Good apps on 2.1?

So most of us here have installed the new official or leaked 2.1 roms so what are the great apps that we have been missing? I personally like the new look of the market and i downloaded the Homerun battle 3D and its really nice. Not really a baseball fan but the game is nice.

Any other really cool apps that we been missing cuz we only had the 1.5?

Google Goggles, Google Earth (must side load it, you won't find it in the market), Google Nav is awesome, just about all the featured apps from the blog from the past 2 months. There are a lot, and I always forget which ones weren't available on 1.5 cause I haven't used it in months. Epocrates is one I've used for pharmacy thats 2.0+.

How are u able to download Google Earth?

I tried going to Google's website to send the link to my phone and it wouldn't pull up

has anyone had any luck?

yeah, ive loaded it before. You sideload it. Put it on your sd card and use a file manager to install it.

Why is it when I search for Google Navigation, all I find is Google maps, is that the same, or am I missing something??

its in google maps
search for a place in maps, click on it and a black screen should pop up with 4 icons. Click the one with the traffic sign symbol. Select Navigate. That will open up google nav with your destination already set.

Thanks got it, another thing I can't find and use to have it on 1.6, was a widget that had all my favorite contacts, and you can scroll through the images, I can't find that anymore, I also stumbled across a widget that had something similar, but can't find it anymore for the life of me, also I use to have Icons to turn on and off, like Wi Fi, Bluetooth etc.. and cannot find those anymore, I know they exist as I see it on one of the scenes that come pre loaded with HTC, I see the power Control but still like the individual ones, thanks again

No problem, they are still on the phone
Long press where you want, or hit the + icon on the right and select widget. The contacts one you are looking for is People.
The other toggle buttons are under settings.
Likewise, if you have an official version of the ROM, HTC has added a few more. You can download them through the first selection (get more HTC widgets).

I found the .apk on my computer. I can't upload it due to the 2.0MB limit and this app is over 5MB. Shoot me a PM and I'll e-mail it to you.
