and I am curious as to why Apple did not stop the HTC One S for T-Mobile?....

Apple didn't 'stop' anything. Customs and the ITC did. Apples complaint was based around software, not hardware, and they have no enforcement power.

Anyone remember that Gizmodo writer Jason Chen who got a hold of the I-Phone 4 prototype left in a bar?Remember when his home was raided by the Apple swat team?(San Mateo Sheriff's Department) Even John Stewart made note of it on the Daily Show.The evil empire has plenty of enforcement power.

Hot off the heels of the One X and EVO 4G LTE spending some prolonged time at customs, now another member of HTC's sensational family appears to be feeling the rigorous effects of the ITC. According to a recent email acquired by TmoNews, it looks as if the Magenta carrier is delaying shipments of the HTC Amaze 4G in the US, saying it's facing "an unforeseen issue with receiving the product from the manufacturer," and that it doesn't know when the handset will be up for grabs again. What's also interesting here, however, is T-Mobile going as far as recommending Sammy's Galaxy S Blaze 4G as a substitute -- which, let's face it, can't be good news for HTC. Here's to hoping this all gets sorted out relatively soon. In the meantime, you can check out the aforementioned email in its entirety at the source below.

I know I'll get hit with trolling charges (I'm not), but I can't help but wonder a little bit if we will ever see the E4GLTE.

The Engadget story makes me even less hopeful.

Which has what, exactly, to do with an ITC import exclusion order? Once HTC was found to infringe, a whole series of steps and events took place that apple couldn't stop even if they wanted to.

Yes, it reminds me of the desperate arguments android supporters make when backed into a corner with the truth. Don't be blind and don't be a fan boy. There's nothing worse than that.

Okay, today i wanted to make my rounds and see what the local store's had to say about a possible launch and here it is. Mind you this is only the local stores and not in any way an official word.

1st store BB - Spoke to the store manager about my pre order. He told me that they are set to get the Evo on the 22nd and be ready for the 23 launch

2nd store R.S. - Told me they should be taking in inventory on the 22nd as well.

3rd store Sprint - Would say nothing till i started talking about the custom deal going on. He replied "Yea thats why the launch got pushed to the 23rd" (we'll see)

4th store Sprint - Told me they currently cant pass that info to the public till its set in stone. I asked if they had any case's or what not and he said they do but cant put them out till next week when the phone launches lol Freudian slip there lol

So while i know its not official by any means, it seems as the general consensus is the 23rd although everyone is afraid to say it after the last launch debacle. Guess we'll see but it gives me more hope

I went by 2 Best Buys in Omaha, They both said the 23rd was the date.
Maybe it's wishful thinking, but fingers are crossed.

Yea i'm hoping too my friend.

The Best Buy had the dummy phone there on display. I love the look. I mean i like it a lot more than the One X The is no getting over how much the gloss black part catches smudges but overall i totally love the look and feel of this phone.

Side note: The Sprint store i went to said they are really pushing the accessories for the Evolte so they will have lots to offer
