Hey everyone! I'm yet another former BlackBerry user. I picked up the HTC Vivid and have been pretty impressed so far. It took me a while to finally let go of the physical keyboard, but I decided it was time to go for more screen real estate!
Funny story though... I started looking at different Android phones on a couple Sundays ago and wasn't really planning on making the switch any time soon. Well, that following Wednesday, I decided to get my contacts ready by syncing my Gmail account with my BB. I downloaded the Google Sync app, synced my contacts, and then started noticing my BB was acting a little slow. I rebooted and completely bricked my phone! The white screen of death as the call it... After Google'ing the error code, it seemed that nothing could be really done besides a complete OS overhaul, etc. SO, I was taking that as a sign to go pick a new phone! Maybe my BB was pissed I was thinking of cheating or maybe Google secretly destroyed my phone?! Ha.
Anyway, it's nice to come over here from CrackBerry.com! Cheers!
