Goodbye, Samsung.

It's always hard to say what exactly happens when a phone or computer acts up. One set of settings is just fine on one device but the same set on a different one and it seems all hell breaks loose. The really sad part is, something like a bad sim card or corrupted software can cause these issues too.

OP, if you found an Apple device that fits your needs...good. I hope it's working out for you. I actually got a cheap 6s just to experience the OS first hand.

Regarding the battery on the iPhone 11 Pro max, I charged to full Saturday evening at 11pm, Tuesday afternoon 5pm was still at 52%with moderate use. Note 10+ would have been long dead.

I am not Anti Android or Samsung, but I want a phone that fits my needs and the Note10+had to many problems and compromises for me.
Without a doubt the iPhones last a long time on standby. That's only a good feature if you rarely use your device. My wife and daughter both have the 11 Pro Max and are constantly charging their phones.

I am not glued to my phone, but I use it moderately and I have owned enough phones to recognise that the battery life both standby and SOT is far superior to the Exynos Note10+ that I had.

Nothing is disabled on my iPhone. The Note 10+ by comparison had everything I could get away with either disabled or in deep sleep.

I got a cheap 7 recently just to try ios 14. Quite like the OS. The 7 is so tiny compared to my S10+ but the user experience is quite good. Just not Samsung good.

OK sorry I didn't reply, I was very busy with Work /Life

Points I would like to clear up I wasn't trolling. I have always preferred Android over IOS.

For me the Note 10+ was a huge disappointment and yes I know perfectly well how to set up a Android phone to avoid battery drain.

Fingerprint sensor didn't work well for me, I often have moist fingers due to my work and it didn't like that. Never really had a problem with Fingerprint scanner before on any phone. Face unlock was unreliable too.

A quick Google search brings up the problem of a vibrating back panel unacceptable on such a flagship. https://forum.xda-developers.com/galaxy-note-10+/help/note-10-vibrates-t3960777

The phone was returned to where I purchased it from and was not defective. Honestly the phone was so bad it really made me try the iPhone 11Pro max and its truly a great phone for my needs.

The price Samsung charges for the Note line is high and the product was not up to the price IMO.

Sorry if you guys thought I was trolling.

You got a iphone.
No memory.
No storage
No 5G..
Iphone decided you didn't need 5G.

I've had both a Max and Note 10 plus in recent years. The 10 plus has better battery life. According to Accu Battery my battery is expected to last 25 hours with 12 hours of screen time. I had early battery drain issues but changing one setting dealing with reporting AT&T mobile usage changed all that. I got alot of help here. Either you didn't set yours up correctly or it's defective. Battery drain is not a Note problem like old Androids.

It's too bad you had Exynos version , you would had different opinion on the Snap Dragon one.

I didn't know what CPU I had to till now. It is in fact snapdragon. Can't seem to find battery life info on the web about the difference between the two.

If you search through here , you'll find them.

Has 256GB storage, enough for me.
No 5G well the Note 10+ I had was not 5G and at this point in time it is not needed by me.
If the iphone had no memory it wouldnt work would it?

Snapdragon V Exynos. Unfortunately never had a Note with Snapdragon as I live in Europe.
I do know from every previous Samsung I have owned the battery life can be good one day then for some unknown reason the next it's terrible.

The reason I got a Note 10 + is because the battery life on my Note 9 was terrible (Exynos) 5 hours SOT even after having a new battery fitted by Samsung. Standby drain even in safe mode was approximately 1.5% an hour. No facebook or messenger or social media Apps everything Crippled.

I also had a OnePlus 6T from launch date and that destroyed my Notes for battery life, SOT. I sold that though only due to the fact i found the screen a little dim outside, and also the camera was not so good.

Honestly I still love Android and the Note line is my Favourite but taking into consideration the problems I had with the Note10+and also phones are getting a bit expensive to replace every year I decided to try Apple and its not perfect but its certainly a better device for my needs than the Note10+

The Exynos at one time was better chip , but that changed i think around Note 9 series .
I know 1+6T got good battery as I have the 1+6 and 1+7PRO. My iphone 11pro gets pretty good battery also. I think only time battery wasn't good was phones around s7 edge and down for me .

That's you though. Every time people mention a battery life issue you have to mention your 10 ost which helps no one.
There is another member that mentioned the same battery stats as mine , did you not notice? And I'm allowed to share my feelings with my Note 10+ .
