Google Account Action Required - How to get rid of?

Hello all,

I have an HTC DNA. I used to have two Google accounts tied to my Gmail, YouTube, and other Google services. I recently deleted one of the accounts and now I can't "un-sync" this account from all the applications so I constantly get the notification to re-enter my password (even though the account is totally deleted). I uninstalled/cleared cache/cleared data for all of my Google apps to no avail. Any recommendations are much appreciated.
