Google Account Lock

Hi there,

I got locked out of my g5, forgot my pin on start up, so it did a factory reset and forgot my password for my account but I reset that now but when it asks me to use the google account previously linked to the phone I enter it and the correct password but now it is says

"Please sign in using on of the device owners accounts"

But its definitely the correct account, I even did the check account process, where you enter your phone number, it verifies it, then tells you the google account.

Really distressing me! Thanks for your help and time.

You need to wait 24 hours after resetting your password in order to use that password to sign in to your device after a factory reset.

Nothing you can do now, unfortunately. If the password is changed after the Factory Reset, you are locked out of the phone up to 72 hours. The reason I said up to 72, as I have heard Google changed this to 24 hrs. You can view some Youtube videos searching for bypassing Google FRP (factory reset protection? ) and try some techniques. However, Google updated something, and these may not work. Activate a spare phone in the meantime.

@KeepItReal, if you read the Google help article I posted you'll see Google says it's 24 hours...

Thanks guys as long as I get access in time! All the bypassing tricks on youtube no longer work, they fixed the exploits by the looks of it, trust me I tried them all! A lot rely on getting into a browser via accessibility exploits, but none worked for me.
But im very happy it will unlock in a day or two as I was ready to throw it against the wall!
