Guys I was wondering if anyone else has been having problems with Google+ on the thrive recently. Anytime I try to go into one of the streams or make a post, the app automatically boots me back to the main screen. I can access everything just fine on my Motorola Photon so I am wondering if it's a known issue or what. I have tried uninstalling and reinstalling it and I still get the same issue. Any help would be GREATLY appreciated.

Yep as soon as I updated to the most recent version of google + mine started crashing constantly as well. They broke something on the Thrive cause my evo3d is fine

Had the same issue with my (Sprint) Samsung Galaxy S II. Wasn't even aware that any update had been applied to Google+. Got off work, got home, went to check my email - 10 seconds later my screen went black. Couldn't get the phone to respond (hard lock). Pulled the back and pulled the battery. Let it sit for 120 seconds. Replaced the battery and let it boot. Retraced my steps to try and recreate the issue. This time the screen went black and 5 seconds later populated with the boot screen - and just hung there. Ugh. Pulled the battery and let it sit again. Replaced the battery and booted. Phone seems to work fine with all the 3rd party apps I've tried running EXCEPT Firefox. As soon as I bring up Firefox and browse to a website, Firefox does an epic fail and either closes itself or crashes the whole phone. If it doesn't crash the whole phone, Google+ issues a "has stopped working" dialog about every 15-30 seconds. Going to try uninstalling and re-installing Firefox (with a hard restart inbetween) to see if this fixes the issue. If not, Firefox or Google+ have some 'splaining to do.....

Addendum to my previous post. Firefox is DEFINITELY having a bad day with Google+, but indeed Google+ appears to be the culprit because it won't even start. Hit the icon, screen goes white and it epic fails to the point of killing my phone (restart with boot logo hang). And no way to uninstall/reinstall (or just plain get rid of) Google+. This is MUCH more annoying than the Sprint ID epic fail I get every once in a while (though it's equally annoying - you'd think they'd have found a fix after having this random crashing issue for over a year - but I guess not). Any way, Google+ is most definitely broken. Gonna have to wait for a fix. Dammit.

it is crashing when you have some problems with background data, it is stopt, it's crasing, you install'd google+ without background data (stoped or crashed)... mine was this problem

G+ crashes all the time on my S3 and my HTC ONE ALSO so you are not alone actually it started in my iPhone 4 21/2 years ago then I switch too S3 phone G+ got worse on not better now I got HTC ONE phone it is doing the same now the HANGOUT is doing the same on my iPhone it will open up then close and the TEN MILLION PEOPLE that are suppose be on G+ I don't think they are there for I have deleted over 350 people off my app that I use to follow which some haven't been in Google plus for over one year to three months left either their name only their profile photo or just photos
