When I used the Google app that post stories that you are interested in I used to be able to swipe to the right on the story to delete it. Now it won't do it anymore. Is there a setting that I can check to activate that feature again? Thx

Strange, I didn't think it was possible to turn off the swipe. You are talking about Google Now cards, and not the suggested stories on your Chrome browser's New Tab page, right?

Yes correct. It's the app that has the Google G on it. Open it up and it has articles that match your interests and Google search. I was able to swipe and it would delete the article.

What happens if you go to Settings>Apps, select Google, and Clear Cache/Clear Data?

When you select the Google app in Settings>Apps, tap Storage, then Clear Cache/Clear Data.

Ok found it. Cleared cache. Still won't delete stories by swiping. I went into Google play store and it said update the app. I did and it let me swipe delete. Then after a bit it stops letting me.

Weird. Does this persist in Safe Mode? If not, then something you installed is presumably interfering.
