Google Apps email as "sign up/activate" email?

I know this has probably been brought up before...but I'm about 4 gin & tonics into the evening and my Google Fu is sucking right now.

I have a Google Apps domain I use for email, etc.... When setting up the D2 or DX or whatever can I use that as the activation/default email account?

Just seems like it would be nice to do that rather than sign up for an use yet another Gmail account.

I also use google apps for my domain so I have my email with username@mydomain.com and I just set up my wife's new Droid 2 using this account with no problems. Now I'm just waiting for my Droid X.
