I'm testing today to see how my battery lasts with the 'OK Google' feature on even when the screen is locked. I've used it to open an app, and check the weather this morning, seems handy when your hands are full.

I'm not a heavy phone user, text, emails that's about it during the day.

I have used it for a few things but the "Ok Google" doesn't work. I think it's due to me using Nova. Just makes the lock screen come on. It does work when I have it set to unlock via my voice, but I just don't trust that enough to leave it on.

It consumes the same amount of battery like other apps. It acts like
connector to other apps..If I ask "oK google open-Android central"
it does. But to get a consumption estimate, you've to used

I haven't really messed with it other than the standard OK Google tell me where whatever is...

I use Google Assistant a bunch on my phone and also via my Google Home speaker at home. It's great .

Google on my g6 stops and just Shows a thinking icon....anyone else? I have to force stop it to get it back going again.
