Google Assistant on the HTC One A9

Just an FYI I got the Google Assistant on my unlocked HTC One A9 last night. On the AT&T network in the USA with the latest apps, no betas. So far it's much better than when I tricked my OPO to loading the Assistant.

Haven't been paying attention about assistant. I thought it was only on Nexus/Pixel devices. How did you get it?

It just showed up. It was a server side change from Google provided you have the current versions of the Google App and Google Play Services.
