Google Assistant Will Not Stop Going Off (Mic Sensitivity)

Okay, this is a very annoying issue. I don't mind Google Assistant popping up every now and then by misreading my voice or holding the home screen too long.

I have an LG Stylo 2. Every time my microphone is brushed/tapped or wind touches it, Google Assistant asks how it can help. It will interrupt my music and any other running apps. I am becoming really irritated with this and can NOT for the life of me find a way to toggle it. Or see anything online about it. It doesn't even appear to be acknowledged by the phone that Google Assistant can be triggered by anything but saying "Ok Google"

Im tired of being interrupted all day and Im considering putting a sticker over my mic unless one of you can help me actually solve this problem.
