Read online that Google Assistant comes shipped with the S8/S8+. Is this true? Apparently there is also a way to set this as the default assistant (instead of the half baked Bixby).

Anyone managed to test it out?

Yes Google Assistant is already on. Just hold the home button like before. You don't need to use bixby. If you don't activate bixby it won't be on. I'm waiting to try out the complete bixby experience before I write it off.
