Google calendar seeing someone else's events on my own account

I can't get my wife's events that she adds to her iPhone to show up on my Samsung s5 phone even though I've added her to my account and think we've both shared calendars. I also have an email from a work colleague that I want to delete from my Google account but don't know how

Have you made sure her calender is showing in the calendar settings? You can choose which ones to display.

Try "smooth sync" .. it allows you to sync iCloud calendars...
