Does anyone know why the following happens and how to stop it?

When I've finished browsing with chrome I clear out the session but when I go back in later on my searches and web pages still show up.

Does anyone know why the following happens and how to stop it?

When I've finished browsing with chrome I clear out the session but when I go back in later on my searches and web pages still show up.

I clear out the tab. Meaning, I hit the page button to create a new tab, I swipe away the page I was on, create the new tab, and then close the Chrome.
