Google+ crashes when Locations opened

Dear All,
This is the first time I create a thread; I have been unable so far to find a solution to my problem.
Namely, every time I open the Google+ app on my S6 Edge, then try to open Locations, the app crashes.
I've sent several crash reports, no use. I've factory reset the phone, no use. Took it to Samsung service, no use.
They've reinstalled all Google apps, no use. The odd thing is, my S5 mini duos handles G+ Locations with no problem.

Any advice is more than welcome!

Does the problem happen immediately after a factory reset? Meaning, if you reset and open the Google+ app and location, does it crash?

yes, unfortunately. Also, I've tried all "basic" tricks of clearing app caches, logging in-out, rebooting, etc.
