Is there a way to contact google directly? I got a subsidized phone from them...but they didn't create an account or activate my phone. I don't want to be charged the subsidy discount because of Google's Error.

What's the best way to contact them? I called TMobile...but if they activate the phone...won't Google lose out on the activation commission? If they do...they will charge me. Don't want that to happen.

Any ideas?

I had to call TMobile as well to activate. I actually received an email from Google saying they could not activate the phone and to call TMobile.

First at Google.com/phone you can try to activate if you can't call TMobile they have Nexus One specialist that will get the phone setup for you.

You will have a miserable time trying to contact Google who will reply days later by email. TMobile will set you up on the 79 dollar plan NP problem.

That is weird. So, you are saying that you bought the phone direct from the Google webstore. And unlocked with no contract, I presume. Correct?

You should have been about to activate it directly from the Google website (Nexus One Phone - Web meets phone.). I mean, if you did buy it unlocked with no contract, then you shouldn't have to call your carrier.

My understanding is that you can activate the phone without even having a carrier. It's just a matter of filling out an online form on Google's website. Is this correct?

If you have the phone, and you have an active SIM card (T-Mobile or AT&T), that's it. No "activation" required. That help any?

The only way currently to contact Google is via email from what I hear. It's making a mess of the spotty 3G issue with T-Mobile telling users to contact Google. :(

Google really should have thought this out before. How can you not have a physical line that people can call? Its not like they don't have the resources for a call center...

Google last week finally got their act together and now they actually have real customer service for the Nexus. :)

The "real" customer service now has become "unreal.":( The phone lines are jammed up, you cannot and WILL NOT get through. Best bet is to buy your Nexus 7 at your local staples.:-\

While this is probably totally unrelated to this two year old thread...I'd just mention that I've waited on hold and you generally get through after about 40-45 mins.
