This is strange, I just got my gnex about 3 weeks ago and one of the first this I got was the Adobe Flash app. Well suddenly my flash videos on YouTube (desktop site) weren't playing anymore so I rebooted. Nothing, checked my flash app in GPlay and it was not there. Looked in my apps and nope, not there. Ended up downloading the apk someone had uploaded on a site and now its back but now the flash icon is on my front page. Has this happened to any of you?
If so, damn. Didn't know Google had the power to delete stuff off my device.

Anybody else had this happen?

Yes I am aware that adobe was stopping support for flash on devices. But I was unaware that it meant my flash app would be removed without my permission.

I pose the same response and questions to you.
Nobody deleted your flash app. Rooted? Jellybean? Disabled app by mistake?

Stock ics 4.0.4 not rooted, disabled by mistake? Is that even possible? All stock no disabled apps. As said before, had the app. Rebooted my device and flash content was not working. App wasn't even on the apps section on my phone or play.

Although flash was removed from the store, adobe says flash for ICS will still receive updates.
So removing it from your device doesn't make sense.

"Starting Aug. 15, mobile Android 4.0 users will no longer be able to download Adobe's Flash Player from Google's Play Store, as Adobe continues its efforts to wind down the existing Flash app for mobile devices.

Android users who already have the Flash Player installed will still be able to use it for now and will still be able to receive updates, according to Adobe."
