No idea. I've seen a couple of reports about this problem but no real solution so far. The only workaround seems to be disabling the lock method temporarily. I wonder if it's related to other bug affecting different devices after the Pie update that locked phones because they couldn't recognise the right unlock password/pin/pattern.

I'll search a bit and post back if I find anything else.

Hi all, I using Huawei Mate 20 pro same problem, disable screen lock backup working, but re-enable back not working again, any update? Thanks.
