Anyone try this on a Razr HD Maxx?

Yes I just did it on mine. I installed it in the dark so I couldn't tell you about the actual picture quality. However, I can see I now have two camera and two gallery apps. I also have photosphere as part of the new app.

Any way to increase the Photosphere image quality? Normal pictures are fine, photospheres are lower quality than my phone can make. Any suggestions? :)

It works great on my rooted SGS2 T989! You the Man, Dobie! Thanks!

Not sure if it's just me but on my non rooted Nexus 4 if i rotate the phone so the volume buttons are facing up, the left side of the screen has a black bar like if the soft keys are meant to be there but not. Anyone else notice this?

When I hold my non-rooted RAZR Maxx HD with the volume buttons down, there is a black bar on the right with three dots which access the soft keys.

I was saying that I think for me anyway there is an issue of only one side should have the black bar with the soft keys on, not both as you can see from the pictures.

Thanks for clarifying this. Maybe this will be fixed in future software updates.

Verizon Samsung Galaxy Note 2 N7100

Looks absolutely awesome, BUT Keeps freezing and force closing after taking pics. Would definitely be my choice of camera app if worked smoothly

Works great on my AT&T Galaxy Note 2 :)

Does this effect the stock Touch-Wiz camera or gallery at all?

I would hate to install this and then not able to use my stock camera or gallery on my T-Mobile Note 2.

Has anyone had any issues like that with there stock Note 2 camera or gallery?

Thanks for double checking this but it is Absolutely checked. Wouldn't let me Amazon apps if unchecked.
Just can figure out why it won't let me install. Did a factory reset recently so not sure what could block it. It definitely downloads correctly as an apk file. Just can only choose Cancel.

I went ahead and gave it a go. The gallery works great. The camera works only with photosphere. It doesn't work as a normal camera but that's fine. I just wanted photosphere.

Working great so far on my stock UK GS3 with 4.1.2! Fantastic work AC!

I now have two sets of apps called "Gallery" and "Camera" in my App drawer/list, one set is the stock Samsung gallery & camera apps, and one is the google apps. I have kept my Samsung apps as the default and put my new apps on my home screen under separate folder to signify that is is the Google version!

Photosphere looks great, will have a bit of fun with this later!

I've recently rooted my GS2 i9100 and installed Jelly bean 4.2.2 using the SentinelROM.

-First tried installing and had the "App Not Install"
-Then tried re-naming the Gallery2.apk file to Gallery2.apk.bak and tried installing again. Same "App not installed" Message.
-Then copied the "Gallery2apk.bak" file to my laptop as a backup, opened Titanium Backup, found "Gallery" and un-installed. Then installed the new "GalleryGoogle.apk" and Success!!

Thanks to "benjo1989" for the below quote pointing me in the right direction.
Those of you on CM10/Aosp, you'll need to browse to /system/app and rename Gallery2.apk to something like Gallery2.apk.bak.

Then copy over the GalleryGoogle.apk into the same folder, and reboot your phone.

The file gave an a second camera and gallery so the TW apps are still there.

I cant get photosphere to work on my EVO 4g LTE. The small blue dot for alignment is perpetually stuck out of the viewfinder. I've uninstalled and reinstalled. Any other suggestions?
