Google Edition camera app w/ Photosphere - easy install, no root needed

Downloaded the gallery app, the camera is now easier to use on my Galaxy Nexus. Love the thumbnail feature.

Mostly works but I did notice one bug with this... I'm on a Verizon Galaxy S3 with CyanogenMod 10.1 (CM10.1) and as soon as I try to take a picture with the front facing camera the screen turns black and I hear 2 vibrates as the phone reboots. I am able to record video with the front facing camera but I cannot take any pictures.

Works great with S3 running Telus official 4.1.2. The only problem is that I cannot find an option to change the save location to my SD card. Please let me know if anyone find an option to change the file location.

Thank you so much.

Same here. Not sure if the option is just not there or I am missing something.

I haven't tried it yet but you have to remember it was extracted from a Nexus style device. In general none of their phones support SD cards so it is unlikely they have this option available.

I installed this with zero problems on my stock Sprint Galaxy S3. I love photosphere and have been waiting for it!

Installed on my non rooted LG Optimus G. Works good but waiting to see how this takes pics in the daytime. So far so good though!

-Volume keys work as a shutter

Pardon the ignorance here, but does this new camera apk add the option to use volume as shutter on all phones, even phones that didn't have this option stock? Would love to do this w/ my One.

I don't think it has the options to put volume buttons as shutters, so in other words it's inevitable.
However, I actually like that and also the new gestures to open settings because it's way less of a hassle to see the picture you just took.

Worked perfectly. T-Mobile GS3 w/ CM10.1 Stable. Just un-installed the default Gallery app w/ Titanium Backup and installed this .apk Thanks for getting this out to us. :D

**EDIT: Front facing camera is working fine. I noticed someone else had an issue with theirs, but mine is working perfectly.

Awesomly awesome !!
Photospheres seems to work on HTC One S (stock, non rooted) :)
But as HTC One users, w loose the ability to shot pics and movies at the same time...

I'm waiting for it to hit the playstore and then the "google edition" launcher !
