Hi, not sure if this is just how it's supposed to be... The Google feed (swipe right) shows stories based on what I'm interested (it's not very good at this). But it mainly ruins things that I have saved to watch like UFC results etc...

So I've turned off the stories part via settings because I'm happy to not have anything like that here. But when I do that, if just shows a blank screen with Google at the top. Weather is gone etc...

Anyone else have this problem or is it just them throwing their dummies out if you don't want their adverts?

I get stories that are 3-4 months old. I am just now getting some stories on the ALCS which happened in October. I also just got the story of this great new phone being released soon the Pixel 3 and 3XL which is funny because I have a Pixel 3XL.

Even if you turn off discover, show stories based on your interests?
