Hi,

Just bought Moto 360 sport few days ago and I have Google Fit and Moto Body both running on the watch and also installed on the phone. I am assuming that Moto Body reads activity from the watch, but not sure about Google Fit (this could read info from watch + phone, and then make some calculations?)

What I notice is that the count of Google Fit is much higher than that of the Moto Body. Currently due to an injury I am walking with a limp ... could this effect the reading?

Also I would like to have a single step and near-continues hr monitor ... which is best for this (if possible) ... moto body or google fit?

thanks in advance

I use both on my 360 sport. I use the Moto Body app for running, Under Armor Record for core exercises, and Google Fit for tracking heart-rate, steps, and calories. I did notice that there is a slight difference between Google Fit and Moto Body for calories and steps, most likely because the apps are using different algorithms to determine step count. The reason I use Google Fit, is because the watch-face that I'm currently using displays the step-count from Google Fit. I believe both apps have continuous hr monitor. On Google Fit, it checks your HR every 5 minutes and you can see it in the log.

On Google Fit, it checks your HR every 5 minutes and you can see it in the log.

How do you enable this? Are you referring to HR reading even when not doing any exercise?

todays test till now:
Fit - 1248
UP - 651
Moto - 651

could it be that the phone and smartwatch are adding their values?

after several tests noted that when Moto Body is connected with Google fit, the steps of Google Fit are double of the actual ones.
Also, HR is taken on the watch only when connected to Moto Body (every 5mins)

any fix for this?
