I can't see myself continuing with the Fitbit app when trial expires. I want to have my heart rate included in an analogue watvh face. Is this possible with Google's Fit app?

That sounds like another viable option; thanks. If I understand correctly, you could try something like this.
Haven't used it but sounds like what you are asking for. I believe it also has complications which you might be after.Cardiogram - Apps on Google Play

To be clear, the free Fitbit will still give you basic info like heart rate. I never subscribed to Premium, and I'm happy with everything the free version offers. Here's a breakdown: https://www.androidcentral.com/fitbit-premium-worth-annual-subscriptionThanks. I'll hang on to Fitbit for a while and give that a try. I guess it's kind of a moot point as I don't see myself paying $13.00 / month for heart rate; got enough monthly payments going out.
Thanks again, Allan

Yep -- it'll definitely ask you if you want to subscribe to Premium, and even offer a free trial. I would just decline or skip that.Hmmm OK didn't relaize there was a free version; thanks.
