Question Google fit

I can't see myself continuing with the Fitbit app when trial expires. I want to have my heart rate included in an analogue watvh face. Is this possible with Google's Fit app?

Welcome to Android Central! Are you asking if Google Fit has a homescreen widget that looks like an analog watchface, or are you asking if the Pixel Watch works with Google Fit?

Haven't used it but sounds like what you are asking for. I believe it also has complications which you might be after.

The watch tracking my fitness routine is really not all that important to me. With my old Samsung watch I had the Google fit app on and used it when I hiked into the woods.
Two imprtant features to me are to have the pay app handy and my heart rate visible on the watch face all the time. So like I said: Once the Fitbit trial period is over I won't use it any more. I may even cancel it prior to expiry and use Google Fit if it does in fact have heart rate on watch face or home screen.

I thought I'd said earlier; guess not. Anyways I bought the Pixel 3 large version; getting two days on battery so far.

I'm pretty sure you can. When you edit the options for a watchface, select one of the complications and then select the Stats option associated with Fit. Then select Steps.

Thanks. I'll hang on to Fitbit for a while and give that a try. I guess it's kind of a moot point as I don't see myself paying $13.00 / month for heart rate; got enough monthly payments going out.

Yep -- it'll definitely ask you if you want to subscribe to Premium, and even offer a free trial. I would just decline or skip that.
