Google had me reset my esim and now Google Assistant can't recognize my voice when I ask it to find my phone

I have a Google Pixel 9 Pro XL.

I have retrained my voice several times for Google assistant. I have factory reset my phone, my watch, and my hub. I'm at a loss. It was working fine before I reset my esim at Google's instruction (I have Google Fi) and I was having connectivity issues.

I have also logged out of all other instances of devices other than my current ones in use.

Any help you could provide would be greatly appreciated.

Welcome to AC!
So you're definitely using Google assistant not Gemini?

Also any commands don't work or just find your phone?

Try uninstalling the update to the Google app and retest make sure Google voice and related settings are on afterwards, don't let play store automatically update it , this way we can test if previous version works and maybe a bug in the current version

It's wonky on the phone too. The issue is definitely tied to my email address somehow. Because I transferred my Google home to a different email address and now it's working fine. But the Google assistant in my watch, which is still tied to my original email address is still saying it can't verify my voice.

Hmm that's interesting, I can agree with you there but not sure the fix , maybe reach out to Google support

Did you try re-training your Voice Model (ex-tech-PM with a bit over a year of experience architecting, testing, etc. voice models)?
Go to Settings -> Search on ("Voice Match") -> Hey Google & Voice Match -> Click on Other Devices -> Teach your Assistant your Voice Again.
Often, if something has changed significantly in your pitch or something (cold, whatever), models can struggle, IME - retraining often helps by adding to the model.
