It just took me 20 minutes to type a three line message. AWFUL. It replaces my apostrophes with quotation marks. Ends a sentence in the middle. Capitalizes words in the middle of a sentence and ALWAYS leaves a space between the end of a word and a comma. Try typing the word "you're"- it always comes out "you"re". I'll use something else.
I ran some updates (Saturday, I think) and now my keyboard has the full punctuation menu back when long-pressing the period... anyone else notice this on the latest Google Keyboard (2.0.19123.914326a)?
Auto-correct seems much improved as well, but it is still using "Dont" instead of "don't" when I type dont. :-\
