They didn't buy it to build their own watch, they bought it to integrate the tech into WearOS so all manufacturers can use it.

That and I think they going to make their own watches also .

I couldn't stand Ticwatch. Did it work? Yes but it was way too laggy for a watch. Especially when compared to the latest Apple Watches.

And I can't stand Apple. But I wouldn't say Apple watches are terrible because I don't like the size. Fortunately, we can each have what we want. Enjoy Apple.

I reviewed a Tick Watch S model about a year and half ago and it was fine. I like my Huawei Classic 2 better and it has excellent battery life. My biggest issues with any smartwatch is the screens are just too small for some of the things they try to do. Hard to get around that. That and it's hard for me to stick with one watch face.
