The Home Max is currently on sale for $199 at various retailers, including the Google Store, Best Buy, Home Depot, Bed Bath & Beyond, and BuyDig. That last site is throwing in a couple of Google Assistant/Alexa compatible wi-fi plugs and a 32 GB microSD card for free.
I already have one Max at home, but I've been considering getting another for stereo pairing. Now that the price dropped again, I pulled the trigger (went with BuyDig, because of the extra freebies, and the good experience I've had with them in the past). I wonder if Google's getting ready to discontinue this in favor of the Nest Hub Max, but I don't think that comes close to the awesome sound quality of the Home Max.
