Google Home promo live

I tried calling and got tired of waiting so I started a Chat session. The rep says the Home Promo wont go live until Apr 7. I told him it was working for some people and he just repeated it would go live Apr 7.

I got mine online from Tmo but my receipt doesn't show the imei, just the serial number. is the imei on the receipt a requirement?

EDIT: Just tried it, and same result in that the LG site won't recognize the ID number. Looks like we'll wait til 4/7 and try again.

Got my email of approval today and I submitted mine yesterday. I'm on AT&T.

I have US Cellular. Attempted to register on site on Fri but no luck. I did call in that day and the lady I spoke with said the IMEI #s probably weren't in the system yet from the carriers. She did take mine and said she could try to get it fast tracked into the system and to try again in a few days to register.
I was successfully able to register yesterday and just received notification that my submission was successfully validated and that I'll receive an email when my Google Home ships.

However, I will note that the IMEI # I gave to the lady on Fri was 15 digits from the box. The IMEI # that the site ultimately accepted yesterday was the one in the phone settings which was one digit shorter than from the box. Seems like the scenario they spelled out for Sprint on the page but appears to apply to US Cellular as well - enter 14 digit IMEI from phone (which is actually also the same as the MEID HEX), not the 15 digit from sticker on box.

Mine just got approved. That was quick, I just submitted mine a little over 24 hours ago. I'm guessing this phone didn't sell as well as LG had hoped. It took almost a week for me to get my earbuds from LG on the V20 promotion approved last year.

Also got my Verizon G6 promo approval. I initially entered the 15 digit IMEI with spaces, like the way it shows on the phone and it was rejected. When I entered it without the spaces it was accepted.

The redemption for my wife's G6 worked yesterday as well. Looking forward to the new hardware. Wish we could have qualified for the TV too, but there was no reason to add a new line to the account.
