I meant the box lol. The device is decently small. I put mine in my kitchen so I can ask it for cooking directions and timers.

Initially I didn't see a need our use for Google home. I mean I always have my phone on me. Then I set it up and I'm pleasantly surprised.

I agree. It seemed really silly for $130 but for free I'm finding it useful.

Just received mine today. First impression is good. Pretty simple in design. Microphone range is very good and it understand the language very well.
Now its time to explore what all it can do.

Well I opened it and glad I did. I didnt realize you could do multiroom audio with chromecasts and Google Home. This was the huge feature from the S8 that I loved, dual bluetooth audio. This actually works better as it uses wifi and not bluetooth so the range is drastically increased. Ive got another Google Home arriving in a few weeks so expansion will be perfect.

I don't know where to put this question. This is the best place IMO.

Google assistant on LG G6 is not working after Google Home setup. I don't know if this is microphone thing that Home picks it up really quick even before G6 can realize something is being said or what?

Anyone else facing this issue?

Yeah you can group Google homes and Chromecast devices and cast audio from your phone to all devices at once.

Got mine yesterday. My daughter loves it. She played with it all night. The music sound is nice and I too like that I don't have to be in the room to cast to it. It's probably not something I would spend $100+ on but since it was free I'm definitely keeping it. I can see that it will improve with time and new capabilities.

We got ours either yesterday or today. Regardless, it was a day or two early.

It's cool, but seems to have some quirks and functions that aren't working properly for us. Hope the Google Home forum leads are helpful!

Got mine on Saturday last week. Definitely keeping it since I got it for free. Even if it doesn't do anything great, it's cool to ask GH to play a song while sitting comfortable in couch or just check on the current news.

Approved on the 18th and shipped today(2nd). Should see it in a week?!?!?!?. I have not received an email on the delivery but the status page says it was shipped today. If I get it within a week, it would only have been a month!!!
