Ok im late to the party on this but im a little confused. I saw the AC article about requesting an invite but I see the Google Inbox is on the Play Store. So why do you need the invite?

I lost push notifications for Gmail and Inbox after the latest inbox update today. First I resync'd my account through the settings menu,then uninstalled inbox, rebooted, cleared sync, cleared cache... and no dice.

Finally, I unchecked/checked the sync button within the Gmail app... And everything worked. Re-installed inbox and the notifications are still working.

Edit: if anyone needs an invite, just pm me.
