Google keyboard crashing constantly......

Having issues all morning. Google keyboard keeps crashing CONSTANTLY!!!!!!! Can't text at all! Phone downloaded the new update this AM, figured maybe there was some conflict but after update, still will not work. Still crashing constantly. Any help? Thanks!!!!!!!

Did you try and uninstall the update to see if it helps? Or are you saying there's always been an issue new and old?

Seems to have started last night/this AM before update was applied..... Did not have an issue with the keyboard before yesterday.

Go to Settings > Apps > All > Google Keyboard and uninstall updates. Test it out and from there if it works reinstall and see how that goes.

Ah. Should have figured. That seems yo be a common fix lol. I did it and it seems to be working....... Thanks a lot! Looks like I'm gonna have to study up on this forum hardcore and get with the times

Most app crashes can be solved by clearing app data. Glad it was fixed for you

Most of the time this is the case but I've seen those instances that nothing helps. I've had applications force close on phones and even a whole factory reset on my device didn't solve it. The only thing that did was a replacement device but that's a rarity.

Yeah, i seem to always have an issue with a new phone hahaha, sometimes I will totally admit user error, but others its just some plain ol stupid ****. I'm really trying to learn up on this one. thanks for the advice. The dinosaurs thank you as well lmao.....
