What exactly does "Limited Edition" mean? It won't be available after pre-order phase? Like at all? Or will just be "out of stock" like the original blue Pixel?

That's what I'm wondering also. I realllly want that orange. By this year is the only year that I've decided not to pull the trigger on launch day and now both sizes are sold out.

I've decided to hold firm until black Friday, to not get burned by sales again, but if that means I can't get the orange I'm gonna be kind of upset.

Google really shouldn't have done a "Limited Edition" anything. They're creating so many obstacles for people to purchase the Pixel 4 models. Storage size, no more unlimited original quality photos, no USB C earbuds accessories, terrible trade-in offers, frighteningly small batteries... and they introduce a hot new color only to make it limited edition and limited in supply. It's shipping dates have slipped to 4-5 weeks.

I don't understand what Google is doing here with some of their decisions.

I also just noticed on their website that the XL orange has a "Limited Edition" marker but the smaller model orange doesn't. More confusion. Isn't Google supposed to be good at internet-things?

I gotta agree with you on this - same with the Blue version of the P1 and the Panda P2
I got the P3 Orange, but the 64 GB version - 128 GB seems to be more popular.
