Google Launcher layout now only 4x4?

Has anyone else noticed the layout now is only 4x4? On my note 5 I had a 5x5 grid and I don't recall changing anything in settings to make that happen. Am I missing something? Thanks!

I'm trying to set up my home screen the way I had it on my note 5 but can't because of the 4x4 layout. Is there a setting to change it back to 5x5 or is this a consequence of the edged screen?

I've grown accustomed to the google now launcher I guess. I'm confused and frustrated that I can't get the 5x5 grid back. Is it an edge screen thing? Does anyone have any input on why it would be 5x5 on the Note 5 and only 4x4 on the Note 7? Thanks!

Did you try changing Content Scaling from large to small? Maybe that would work? I don't know...just guessing. I would like the small setting better but it makes the status bar icons too small for my old eyes to see so I'm leaving it on large just because of that.

This. It's the content scaler. Change it to small and you get the 5 rows across. I had the same issue

Isn't there any settings screen where that can be adjusted? I am not sure about google launcher (I have not used it for a while), but in a few others it is very easy to setup.
