Google Maps and My Maps for Eris/A1.6

I've enjoyed using my Google Maps navigation so far and look forward to getting A2.0 with the turn by turn directions, but is there a way now with 1.5, or even with 2.0 or 2.1 to use maps saved in Google Maps with the GMaps navigation on the phone? Similarly, does the GMaps on the 2.0/2.1 allow you to choose to avoid interstates, toll roads, etc. and to modify the route by touching and dragging it elsewhere?

In short - does it now or will it with 2.0/2.1 have basically the same functionality as the full web version?

yes, load up my maps editor and then you can chose one of your saved places and navigate to that. in google maps 3.3, i believe there is a layer that will put your maps on, eliminating the need for my maps editor.
