Anyone having issues getting directions to work on google maps on Kit Kat ?

Haven't tried it (I'm not a convert - I've frozen the update app and I'm still on 4.3, but my wife updated to 4.4.2) but without MyDirections, I'd rather use a paper map even if I'm driving alone. (Or reinstall an older version of Navigation and turn off the update for it.) If you drive to a lot of different places all the time, and need navigation to them, Maps alone is worse than useless, it's maddening. (MyDirections makes using it a pleasure.)

If you're having problems with it, though, see the Samsung people at Best Buy. 4.4.2 was supposed to fix GPS problems, not cause them. A reflash of the update might fix it.

Had major problems earlier today actually. Maps kept telling me to get from Daytona to Jacksonville would take around sixteen hours. The suggested route passed through Virginia Beach I think.

I had to uninstall the latest Google maps update (7.7) for directions to work. The stock 7.5 google maps works like a charm.
