Google maps issue

So google maps on my new X only plays about the first 3 seconds of the nav directions and then goes silent. For example "Turn left onto I75 in one half....."


Anyone else have this problem? I have the latest version of maps.

I'm having a simalier problem where if i hit the car dock app it goes to open it and then goes back to the home screen, i tried pulling the battery and ever from uninstalling all the apps i installed inbetween it working to not working.

Are you moving or sitting still?

The x is positioned stationary in the car as I am driving.

If you are moving not sure whats going on. I have used mine in the factory Verizon car dock with no problems.It could it be getting a weak signal due to the position in the car.

Signal was fine, it followed my exact path and the voice played exactly when it was supposed to, but then just stopped in the middle of each command. Like hitting mute in the middle of a conversation.

Im not having that problem. But i am wondering how i save a location. Like if someone takes me somewhere and i want to remember how to get there, how do i save the location?

oh i see how it works now. The little star icon in the upper right after you tap the location. then you can save it as a contact also. stupid me

ImaGOV, it'll probably be fixed in an update.
