Google maps keeps crashing

I have a htc one mini2 . Google maps used to work fine now every time i try and ask for directions it crashes and wont respond. Ive tryed clearing the cach and wiped the cach partition and still its the same. Its version 10.15.3. any ideas?

See if there's an update for it in Play. If not, no ideas, except that it may no longer work on such an old phone. The phone has only 1GB of RAM.

You might want to try using Google Maps Go instead.
